About LLM

Lindstrom Literary Management was established in 1993 and represents a range of fiction and nonfiction clients. Kristin Lindstrom works closely with writers to prepare manuscripts and proposals for the scrutiny they will receive at a publishing house. She pulls upon a total of 30 years of experience as a literary agent, editor and marketing and advertising consultant. LLM offers represen-tation informed by an understanding of what publishers want and the importance of marketing on an author's success.

The publishing model is evolving; publishers are testing new ways to deliver books to the market and to tap into popular activities such as gaming and podcasting. And authors must use new marketing approaches to work in congress with traditional tools like book reviews, author reading tours and interviews. The Internet has opened the door to many exciting and inexpensive venues for authors getting the word out about their books. A website is just the tip of the technology iceberg that authors can use to reach their markets.
