Prue Brophy has sold two lively historical romance novels to Kensington Publishing, which are published under the pen name Sarah Brophy: Midnight Eyes (January 2007) and Dark Heart (February 2008). Prue lives in Tumbarumba, Australia, which exemplifies the long reach of the Internet in publishing today.

Carlos J. Cortes is a true Renaissance man with wide-ranging interests that are reflected in his writing. He lives in Barcelona, Spain. His first novel is Perfect Circle published by Bantam Spectra in November of 2008. His second novel, Prisoner, has been nominated for a Philip K. Dick award.

Lawes is the author of three humorous mysteries written with her sister under the pen name Haily Lind. She is working on two solo mystery series under the Obsidian line at NAL. The first features a witch who owns a vintage clothing shop. The second series stars a woman contractor who renovates old buildings. Julie lives in Oakland, California.

Cathy Holton's hilarious first two novels for Ballantine Books have sold very well, Revenge of the Kudzu Debutantes and The Secret Lives of the Kudzu Debutantes were issued in both hardcover and paperback. Cathy has a new two-book deal with Ballantine. The first book, Beach Trip, was released in May 2009. Cathy lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
